Hotel Antiche Figure overlooks on the Grand Canal, very close to the main entrances to the city. It's the ideal starting point to experience the atmosphere between 'calli' and 'campielli'. A sumptuous buffet breakfast is prepared daily in the comfortable Breakfast Room. The Garden Cafeteria, which overlooks the Grand Canal, is the perfect place to unwind whilst sipping Venice's most famous cocktails, a Bellini or a Spritz. It offers various kinds of rooms such as Superior Rooms, Deluxe rooms, Residence Junior Suite and Residence Suite. Our Superior Rooms have a typical Venetian view of narrow streets and red tile roof tops. The furnishings are traditional Venetian in style, with gold leaf, refined red carpeting, elegant Murano chandeliers and superb silk tapestries. Our Deluxe Rooms overlook the Grand Canal. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
