The rooms in Ca' dei Conti are full of XVIII century charm, without giving up modern day comforts. Three colors dominate, blue, green and gold: in the shades of the embroidered fabric on the walls, the padded headboards, the bed covers and the soft carpet. The furniture is eighteenth-century Venetian style, with precious oriental rugs and chandeliers in Murano glass, all harmoniously combined with the comforts of a four-star hotel: direct telephone line, a minibar, satellite TV, cable radio, a safety deposit box and adjustable air conditioning.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
