Welcome to Amari Koh Samui. We’re looking forward to brightening your stay, every day. You’ll find us on a secluded beachfront at idyllic Chaweng Beach just 5 km from Koh Samui Airport. We’re not far from Wat Plai Laem temple or the Fisherman’s Village at Bophut, which comes to life every Friday evening as a bustling street market. The spaces at our Chaweng Beach resort have been thoughtfully designed for that comforting home-from-home experience. We’ve added touches to the décor to showcase modern Thai craftsmanship at every turn – a contemporary re-imagining of the traditional Thai home. Your little ones are also going to have a blast. That’s a promise! When you want some time by the pool, our friendly team at the Kid’s Club will take your little ones on their own adventure while you enjoy some well-deserved “me” time, worry-free! We can’t wait to welcome your entire family to Amari Koh Samui and brighten your world.

Wat Phra Yai, known in English as the Big Buddha Temple, is a Buddhist temple on Ko Phan (also spelled Koh Fan or Koh Faan), a small island offshore from the northeastern area of Ko Samui, Thailand, connected to that island by a short causeway 3 kilometres (1.9 miles) north of Samui International Airport. As its name indicates, it is home to a giant, 12-metre-high (39-foot) gold-painted Buddha statue. Since being built in 1972, it has become one of Ko Samui's main tourist attractions and a major landmark.[1]

In 1981, Julie founded Everything Done Right Catering, a high-end catering business. During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico. In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. An invitational organization of women leaders in food and beverage whose mission is further education, scholarship, and philanthropy.
