Rabindranath Tagore Centre, Kolkata, is ICCR’s unique cultural centre in India. An architectural landmark, RTC with its state-of-the-art galleries, compact auditorium with excellent acoustics and a conference centre with seminar and lecture rooms fills an important need in the city, which does not have comparable facilities. These venues are also available to others for holding of cultural programmes. The Conference Centre includes three lecture rooms and in addition there are two seminar rooms with round table facilities. The Satyajit Ray Auditorium with 274 seating capacity is housed in the left wing of the main building.
