Borneo Development Corporation (Sabah) Sdn. Bhd. is strategically located in the outskirt of the city and yet, is very accessible. It is 12 km from Kota Kinabalu International Airport and it takes just 15-minutes by car. It has a centrally located hinterland serving the surrounding area. Sabah was established in line with the State Government's policy of promoting a value-added economy through private sector investments. STC's function is to provide a much needed venue for a wide range of activities such as exhibitions, conventions, seminars, meetings, gatherings and other functions. Sabah is approximately 100,000 sq. ft. in area reaching the height of 70 feet and divided into two levels. The first level has 50,000sq. ft. useable space comprising the main exhibition hall, foyer, meeting rooms, office and preparation rooms. The second level has 35,000 sq. ft. useable space consisting of permanent exhibition area, office space and cafeteria. STC is a fully air-conditioned modern building.
