Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policy: The client has no contractual right of withdrawal. The cancellation of rooms by the client is possible free of charge up to 8 weeks before arrival. Afterwards the following cancellation conditions apply. 75% of the rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 weeks before arrival. 50% of the rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 weeks before arrival. 25% of rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 weeks before arrival. 10% of the rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. For the remaining rooms, we will charge 80% of the hotel room price per room and day. In case of later cancellations or non-utilization, including by participants, we charge 100% of the hotel room price including the Schloss Elmau flat rate per room and day. The customer is entitled to prove that the hotel has suffered no or only minor damage.

THE MEETING & EVENT EXPERIENCE Schloss Elmau is not only the perfect venue for a G7 Summit (2015 and 2022) with the Leaders of the Free World, but also for exclusive weddings, festive events, board meetings, scientific symposia, political debates and business conferences. Both hotels can be booked exclusively, providing a maximum of 47 rooms at the Retreat and 115 rooms at the Hideaway.
