About us

Buller's Rest Lodge is located in Ladysmith, South Africa. This charming, upmarket, country-style, thatched lodge is situated in the leafy suburbs of Ladysmith, in the heart of the Anglo-Zulu and Anglo-Boer War Battlefields. We have 12 comfortable, single and double en-suite rooms, which include 2 family rooms that sleep 2 adults and 2 children. All of the rooms are equipped with all the modern amenities. Guests are encouraged to sit together for dinner, creating a warm, friendly, family atmosphere and leading to some very interesting and entertaining conversations between guests from all walks of life. We also cater for office parties, special functions and Christmas parties at very reasonable and negotiable prices. Functions are held in a unique, thatched venue with a deck that overlooks Ladysmith and the magnificent Drakensberg mountains. We can cater for parties of up to 50 people.
