Set on 120 acres at the beginning of the Las Vegas Strip, Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino combines 1.7 million square feet of meeting space with 4,752 accommodations and one of the world’s great lineups of entertainment options. The complex, shared with two additional world-class hotels, includes an 11-acre beach area with wave pool, 135,000-square-foot casino, spa and fitness center, and Events Center seating 12,000 people. Twenty-five lounges and restaurants include gastronomic meccas led by celebrity chefs, such as Rick Moonen’s Rx Boiler Room and Kumi Japanese Restaurant & Bar by Akira Back. Planners find the 2.1 million square feet of meeting and exhibit space concentrated at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. It contains four ballrooms—including one of the largest pillarless ballrooms on the west coast, and the Seascape Ballroom, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows framing Shark Reef Aquarium. Despite the vast size and scope of meeting possibilities, separate convention, trade show, and executive meetings teams see to planners’ needs individually—while a convention services team with 21 certified meeting professionals oversees all needs. Productive days of meetings or nights on the town end in stylish accommodations equipped with the latest amenities. Along with 1,117 suites for VIPs in the new Delano Las Vegas, Four Seasons Hotels manages another 424 rooms in the main tower; and the neighboring Shoppes at Mandalay Place adds another 40 shops and restaurants.
