About us

Gray’s Inn is one of the four Inns of Court which have the exclusive right to call men and women to the Bar of England and Wales. The Inn exists to support, educate and develop its student barrister members and to provide continuing professional development to its qualified barrister members in accordance with its historic traditions. The Inn uses income generated from the commercial and residential lettings on its estate to provide scholarships to support those commencing their path to a career at the Bar, and to fund its other charitable activities: Education, the Chapel and the Library. The Inn offers members, tenants and the public the finest facilities and catering for weddings, meetings, conferences, corporate and private event hire. The Inn’s Banqueting Department will consult with you to meet your requirements and plan your event down to the finest detail. Special rates are available for members of the Inn.
