Designed by renowned Victorian architect Sir John Belcher RA and completed in 1890, the venue boasts a stunning exterior with a carved stone frieze by Hamo Thornycroft and interiors adorned with artworks by Eduardo Paolozzi, Gerald Benney, and John Piper.
