About us

The Royal Institution of Great Britain is an independent charity dedicated to connecting people with the world of science. We're an events space, a museum and a place to eat and drink. But we're more than that as well. Restoration of our traditional Georgian spaces combined with the creation of new flexible contemporary areas has formed an exciting space to suit a multitude of events for a wide range of clients. Whether it be a dinner party, networking event, conference, or small business meeting we have the right space for you. We can cater for anything between two and 400 people. From the five floor glass Atrium to the 200 year old theatre the Ri has an impressive portfolio of flexible spaces in a great central location. Our traditional Library and Writing Room are flooded with natural daylight, with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto Albemarle Street. For a striking setting why not get a feel for the outdoors from inside our bright glass Atrium; the perfect spot for cocktails and canapes.
