Inspired by a city that is much more layered than bourbon and horses, Hotel Genevieve represents the nuances that make Louisville a destination for all. The hotel’s name is inspired by a regional type of limestone, Saint Genevieve, a key ingredient in bourbon production. Saint Genevieve is also the patron saint of Paris, celebrating both the French origins of Louisville and the many women that worked to bring the hotel to life. Hotel Genevieve offers unique indoor and outdoor spaces for hosting events in the heart of Louisville's NuLu District. The crown jewel of our event spaces is our rooftop venue including indoor space that opens on to the outdoor space with fireplace across a total of 3,550 square feet.
