About us

Right in the heart of Madison, The Edgewater offers over 200 guest rooms, an outdoor plaza and park, several restaurants and lounges, a luxurious spa, moorings for boats, and extraordinary facilities for meetings, events, and weddings—all right on the shores of Lake Mendota. You’ll learn more about all of this, and see many images of the hotel as you explore our venue. The Edgewater is just down the street from the Capitol and its bustling historic square. It is within walking distance of State Street and its eclectic restaurants and shops. Best of all, we are located next to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and its sports venues, home of the Wisconsin Badgers. Just as important as our amenities and beautiful location, however, is the quality of hospitality we offer at The Edgewater.
