The Cottage in the Wood ligt op een plateau halverwege de Malvern Hills en biedt prachtige uitzichten over de Severn Valley naar de Cotswold Hills die de horizon vormen. Het hotel is al meer dan 25 jaar eigendom van en wordt gerund door twee generaties van de familie Pattin en bestaat uit drie gebouwen. Het restaurant van The Cottage in the Wood heet om voor de hand liggende redenen 'Outlook'. Ze hebben een stabiele stijl en zullen een weldaad zijn als de zon te sterk is of als het weer een beetje koud is. De directiekamer, gelegen in het hoofdgebouw, heeft een aangrenzende syndicaatruimte, die beide genieten van natuurlijk licht. De faciliteiten zijn ideaal voor vergaderingen in bestuurskamerstijl, seminars, interviews en kleine trainingssessies.
