Situated in the centre of Britain’s widest high street, the Castle and Ball has had an interesting past. It occupies a site which has had an inn standing on it since the 15th Century. The 37 well appointed bedrooms are all comfortably furnished and individual in design, and reflect the historic nature of the hotel. The Castle and Ball has excellent function and banqueting facilities, a meeting room for up to 6 delegates, enabling us to cater for all occasions from business meetings, conferences, weddings, family celebrations and private dining. The hotel’s walled Beer Garden at the rear provides a relaxing setting for those looking to enjoy a drink and a meal alfresco-style.
