Het viersterrenhotel Rennsteig werd in 1994 herbouwd in een mix van stijl en principe; half Bauhaus en half postmodern. Het hotel ligt aan de rand van het traditionele kuuroord Masserberg in het Thüringer Woud. De glazen wanden, Italiaanse leren banken en de natuurlijke houten vloeren maken indruk met eenvoudige elegantie. Alle 92 kamers zijn uitgerust met de modernste voorzieningen.
