SMOKE FREE POLICY Element Melbourne Richmond is a smoke free hotel. To protect the smoke free environment, Hotel will post a $300 cleaning fee to the account of any guests where evidence of smoking is found in their guest room. To ensure the cooperation and comfort of Group’s attendees, Group agrees to advise its attendees of the smoke free policy in writing. TAKEAWAY POLICY Under no circumstances can food be removed during any meetings or events within the Hotel. The company’s policy on takeaway is strictly non-negotiable in adherence to Marriott’s Safe Food & Hygiene Policy. DISPLAYS OR SIGNAGE No items are to be attached, pinned or glued to the wall / surface of any area of the Hotel. Signage to be placed in public areas must be approved by your Sales/Catering Manager. EXTERNAL CATERING Only food prepared by the Hotel is to be served unless written approval has been made by your Sales/Catering Manager. This relates to all events and includes outside contractors.
