О нас

Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is in the centre of Mikkeli, in the city, in the heart of life. The hotel comprises 176 rooms and two restaurants. The great sauna department features a bubble pool; massage and treatment services available. The hotel has two parking lots and covered outdoor parking spaces, parking is chargeable. The hotel also has 15 well-equipped meeting rooms and an auditorium. The railway station is just a 5 minutes' walk away.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Yes, Plastic straws and stirrers replaced with eco-friendly alternatives offered on request. Branded plastic pens are replaced with recyclable pens. Use of refillable soaps and shampoos where possible. Pins in hotel rooms to help sort plastic waste.
