Located in the most fashionable area of Milan, a few steps from Corso Garibaldi and Brera, Osteria La Vecchia Lira has opened its doors in 2005 founded by Eugenio and Christian. La Vecchia Lira features traditional Italian cuisine combined with a welcome and warm atmosphere resulting in a unique dining experience. “La Vecchia Lira” evokes the good things of the past and the old school italian way of living, such as the Old Lira, the italian currency before the adoption of the euro. The owners’ purpose was infact to provide exceptional quality keeping the prices low, as they were before the exchange that, unfortunately, characterized the passing to the new value; and we can say about it that the promise has been kept (you will spend 30/40 euro).
