About us
As one of eastern Canada's year round leading destinations, Fairmont Le Château Montebello is an exceptional resort famed for its rugged luxury. The world largest log castle is located on the shore of the Ottawa River half way between Montreal and Ottawa. Beautiful surroundings and year-round activities offer over 40 exciting adventures including golf, clay-shooting, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, curling, as well as a Fairmont Spa to name but a few. Fairmont Le Château Montebello has been the host of several historic meetings, a G-7 International Economic Summit, attended by political figures including Ronald Reagan, François Mitterand, Pierre Trudeau and Margaret Thatcher as well as NATO meetings. More recently, the resort hosted the North American Leaders Summit welcoming President Bush, President Calderon and Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Fairmont Le Château Montebello features meeting rooms that can accommodate between eight and 300 delegates, perfect for everything from a large conference to an intimate gathering. Many of the rooms feature the hotel's distinctive red cedar decor and an abundance of natural light to create a homely environment in which to conduct business.
