Welcome to a place where comfort scents of gardenia! A few kilometers from the city of Reggio Calabria, on the promenade of Lazzaro, lays a seaside resort of great tradition and reputation. Breathtaking sea views, high quality service, the staff's outstanding professionalism and thirty years of experience in the fields of catering and hospitality are the elements for a successful stay. Open all year, the Gardenia Hotel has eighteen rooms, all with a wonderful view over the Straits of Messina and Etna volcano, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Style, elegance and sophistication in a discreet and intimate atmosphere, the courteous and impeccable service, creative cuisine but closely linked to the traditions of the area are the ideal setting for all your most important events. You can count also on our two fully equipped meeting rooms with a capacity of 30 to 200 people. For those who want to spend here an important day, the hotel offers a wonderful reception hall, ideal for special occasions.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
