Hotel-Garni Muralto is the result of the complete restoration of the former Hotel Carmine, located in Via Sempione 10 in Locarno-Muralto. The building, constructed in the 1960s, is situated in a very sunny, easily accessible central position. In 2007 it was acquired by the Gian-Luigi and Laura Varini family who decided to completely renovate it in order to obtain a modern and comfortable structure that satisfies current needs. The building meets the latest fire and safety police regulations and has been fitted with an innovative and environmentally friendly solar heating and hot-water system with an excellent energy efficiency rating. The interiors offer a bright atmosphere and are tastefully and warmly furnished. The reception area, hall, bar and breakfast room are situated on the ground floor. There are a total of 34 rooms distributed across five floors with an additional conference room for a maximum of 10 people and a bicycle storage room located on the first floor.
