The quiet charm of a historic inn, where a good book and an overstuffed chair by the fireplace might be all the nightlife you need. If not, pop into Noba Bar or the Nobadeer Cafe and make a new friend over cocktails and a lite bite. At the Inn, there is plenty of family-friendly spirit and the amenities of a larger resort hotel, including the island’s only indoor pool. The Inn also features renovated event spaces as modern as any on the mainland, with creative planning and catering. The Rose & Crown began its life as a livery stable for horses and carriages in the 1800s. During the next 150 years, 23 South Water Street has served as a gas station and an art studio. In the mid-70s, it became The Rose & Crown restaurant. Named for a shoal 7 miles off the Southeastern coast of Nantucket, "The Crown," has been serving islanders and visitors continuously for the past 40+ years and is still going strong.
