About us
Wests' Diggers is ideally located in Tamworth's CBD. One block from Tamworth's main street, Peel Street, with the Peel River at our back door. And we have created Tamworth's Newest Function Venue offering state of the art facilities and equipment. The Function facilities have been designed to cater for intimate meetings of 2 people to large gatherings for up to 300 guests. With clients including: NIAS, Aristocrat Technologies, Foster's Australia, Norco Pauls and the Country Music Association of Australia. Wests' Diggers function rooms include Grand Ballroom, Long Tan, Kokoda & Beersheeba Rooms. Room capacities differ depending on the individual function requirements.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
