In 1992, New York Offstage began, when founder, Bev Sambrotto, left her role as Assistant Director of Visitor Services at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Her tenure at Lincoln Center gave her invaluable experience as a producer of refined cultural events. This experience included talent recruitment and coordination with world-class talent from Lincoln Center’s companies, cutting edge event planning and production for Fortune 500 corporations, and creative, interactive program content for patrons, and international travel and luxury group clients. New York Offstage flourished as the industry leader in these immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences showcasing New York’s cultural world. Until 2012 The Offstage Group served groups of all sizes. Philly Magic Tours is the company of Robert Malissa, Master Magician (sorry to sound so humble). We have the following offerings: 1- A comedy magic show that has headlined in theaters in Philadelphia and NYC. This show is a great fit for corporate events as it uses themes of corporate life, such as interviewing for an assistant, bring on interns into the show (that don't get healthcare) and appointing someone head of HR for the rest of the show. 2- Walk around sleight of hand magic. For cocktail hours, galas, and any mixers you might have. 3- The Great Philadelphia Comedy Magic Walking Tour. For groups visiting Philadelphia. 4-The Great Philadelphia Comedy Magic Bus and Walking Tour Hybrid. Great for senior groups that only want to do limited walking.

Where We Meet We typically meet guests at the Ace Hotel located at 20 W 29th Street (midtown Manhattan, 10 blocks south of Times Square). If we are taking guests on a Brooklyn tour, we typically meet them at the Whole Foods upstairs cafe located at 4 Union Square (Manhattan, at 14th Street). At both pre-experience meeting locations you’ll find a cafe and bathroom, which are both convenient before your marathon secondhand shopping day! For larger groups and corporate events, we organize meetings at a private location also conveniently located near midtown and subway access. That address is determined before the tour and space rental is included in booking fees.
