Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!

Threes Brewing Governors Island is an open-air private event space on Liggett Terrace at 517 Clayton Road, Governors Island, New York — 5,000 sq ft of tree-lined outdoor event space with sweeping views of the Manhattan skyline, open May through October. Standard capacity is 80 seated or 500 standing, with configurations for 1,000+ guests available on request — the largest event footprint in our portfolio by a wide margin. Getting there is a short ferry ride from Lower Manhattan or Brooklyn, and that's part of the appeal: it's a genuinely unexpected setting for a corporate event, and one that tends to make an impression. At both pre-experience meeting locations you’ll find a cafe and bathroom, which are both convenient before your marathon secondhand shopping day!
