Monteverdi Tuscany is een verzameling van drie prachtig gerestaureerde huurvilla's en een boetiekhotel met 12 kamers in het historische dorp Castiglioncello de Trinoro, Zuid-Toscane, Italië. Dit afgelegen, maar handige gehucht ligt op gelijke afstand tussen Rome en Florence en is de thuisbasis van Monteverdi Toscane. In een unieke architectuur liggen de kamers en privévilla's verspreid over het kleine dorp. Om de authenticiteit van het dorp te behouden en de lokale cultuur te beschermen, is elk gebouw zorgvuldig gerenoveerd volgens het oorspronkelijke ontwerp met moderne voorzieningen en luxe meubilair. Het hotel gaat naadloos over in het dorp en er wordt geen onderscheid gemaakt tussen woningen en Monteverdi Toscane.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
