Congress Centrum Alpbach ligt in het hart van het „Mooiste dorp van Oostenrijk”. Het Alpbach Congress Centre, met zijn 2.200 vierkante meter vloeroppervlak, is een mooi voorbeeld van de harmonie die kan worden bereikt met een verfrissende combinatie van traditionele en moderne elementen in de hedendaagse architectuur. Omdat het grootste deel van de structuur is ingebed in de berghelling, is het ontwerp van het gebouw een duidelijke toewijding aan de hedendaagse geest van respect voor de natuurlijke omgeving, waarbij de esthetische voordelen van een echt kleine voetafdruk worden gecombineerd met zinvolle voordelen op het gebied van energiebesparing. Het belangrijkste architecturale kenmerk is een spiraalvormige galerij met kamerhoge beglazing.

This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout. Simple And Fun Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
