In oktober 2014 kondigde Northwest Meetings + Events Magazine het Ted Ferry Civic Center aan als het „Beste conferentie-/congreslocatie in Alaska.” Op de tweede plaats kwamen het Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center; en Hotel Captain Cook. Het Alaska Chapter van het American Institute of Architects kende het Ted Ferry Civic Center in 1994 de AWARD OF MERIT for Excellence in Architecture toe. Ons originele en intrigerende ontwerp omvat gewelfde plafonds, massieve houten balken, een groot aantal ramen en een prachtig uitzicht op Deer Mountain.

De moderne balzaal van het Ted Ferry Civic Center bestaat uit 4.500 vierkante meter hoge plafonds, dakkapellen, opvallende ramen en bekroonde architectuur. Het podium van 1.500 vierkante meter grenst aan de balzaal en is compleet met de nieuwste geluids- en lichttechnologie. Er worden privévergaderruimtes gecreëerd met behulp van geluidsgeïsoleerde scheidingswanden. Met een gerust hart verandert de balzaal in drie afzonderlijke kamers met individuele geluidssystemen en lichtregelaars. Deze functies, gecombineerd met de volledig uitgeruste professionele keuken, de directiekamer en de smaakvol ingerichte lobby, zorgen voor een totaal veelzijdige, full-service faciliteit.
