Baan Talay Resort ligt aan Chaweng Beach — de populairste strandlocatie van Koh Samui, ten zuiden van Chaweng, dicht bij Centara Grand Beach Resort. Onze 54 bungalows zijn smaakvol ontworpen en kunnen worden onderscheiden in 2 onderscheidende themaconcepten. Het hotel biedt met trots drie soorten accommodatie, bestaande uit bungalows met uitzicht op de tuin, bungalows met uitzicht op het zwembad en bungalows aan het strand. Onze bungalows met uitzicht op de tuin zijn bungalows in traditionele Thaise stijl die netjes zijn gerangschikt rond de tuin van ons resort, terwijl onze bungalows met uitzicht op het zwembad en de bungalows aan het strand onlangs gerenoveerde kamers zijn en een eigentijds ontwerp met moderne voorzieningen bieden.

Soi Green Mango is voor Koh Samui wat Soi Cowboy is voor Bangkok en Walking Street is voor Pattaya, zij het op kleinere schaal. Central Festival Samui omschrijft zichzelf als 'het meest complete en grootste lifestyle-winkelcomplex in Samui'; met drie verdiepingen en ongeveer 90.000 m² winkelruimte is er geen betere omschrijving voor dit enorme winkel- en eetcentrum, dat zich tussen Chaweng's Beach Road en het nabijgelegen meer bevindt.

Deze tempel bevat, volgens het bord, een replica van de voetafdruk van Boeddha, maar deze tempel is op geen enkele eilandtour te zien, dus je moet er zelf 'ruig' naar toe rijden. Op weg naar de top kom je ook langs het fantastische 'Nathalie's Art Palace' en de Samui-vestiging van de beroemde 'Q Bar' in Bangkok. Om er te komen, kijk naar het Q Bar-bord op de weg die de ringweg van Samui met Chaweng Beach verbindt. Naast het Boeddha-relikwie bevat de tempel een gouden chedi (stupa) en een verzameling prachtige beelden. Zoals de meeste tempels in Thailand is het een rustige plek waar iedereen een paar uur kan mediteren.
Muay Thai-boksen
Petchbuncha Boxing Stadium is het centrum van Muay Thai (Thaiboksen) op Koh Samui. Thaiboksen of Muay Thai is de nationale sport van Thailand en is een van de meest veeleisende contactsporten ter wereld. Het vergt een lange en zware training om uit te blinken in deze discipline en steeds meer mensen over de hele wereld raken geïnteresseerd en beginnen met deze sport. Petchbuncha Stadium, gelegen aan de ingang van Soi Reggae in het centrum van Chaweng, is een groot gebouw dat plaats biedt aan maximaal 1.500 gokkers.
Samui Football Golf

Voetbalgolf is een origineel en steeds populairder spel en wordt over de hele wereld steeds bekender. Het idee is eenvoudig genoeg: het is een combinatie van voetbal en golf waarbij spelers proberen een voetbal in zo min mogelijk 'slagen' de 18 holes in te sturen - uiteraard met hun voeten. Jij en je groep zullen er minstens 60 minuten lang aan het spelen, lachen en genieten en tegelijkertijd kun je genieten van een verfrissende tropische tuinwandeling rond een prachtige kokosnootplantage die de 'koers' vormt.
Aquapark Samui

Aquapark Samui biedt kinderen en hun ouders een opwindende activiteit op Chaweng Beach. Aquapark Samui ligt op ongeveer 40 meter van het zand voor de Monkey Bay Bar tussen OZO Chaweng en The Library en bestaat uit grote opblaasbare apparaten die onder toezicht van het personeel een breed scala aan leuke en uitdagende wateractiviteiten mogelijk maken voor het hele gezin in een veilige omgeving.

Chaweng Beach is het populairste stuk poederachtig wit zand van Koh Samui. De brede baai was het brandpunt voor de ontwikkeling van de toeristische industrie van het eiland en de majestueuze vijf kilometer lange halve maan wordt aan beide uiteinden begrensd door rotsachtige landtongen, met een rif voor de kust en het kleine eiland Koh Matlam in het noorden.
