Hotel Grifone ligt in een van de weelderigste dennenbossen van Italië, op een platteland bezaaid met natuurlijke oases aan de rand van het prachtige natuurpark Maremma. Ondanks de weelderige ligging ligt het hotel op slechts 350 meter van de zee en een strand met de blauwe vlag van de Europese Unie en een beoordeling van 4 zeilers van de Legambiente-vereniging voor reinheid, milieubewustzijn en duurzame ontwikkeling. Het brede strand van Principina a Mare strekt zich kilometers ver uit achter een beschermende rand van zandduinen. In zijn dertigjarige bestaan heeft Hotel Grifone zich altijd onderscheiden door zijn huiselijke sfeer. Het heeft 38 goed ingerichte kamers die comfortabel en modern zijn. Het restaurant biedt traditionele lokale en Toscaanse gerechten.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
