Weet je nog hoe belangrijk de pauze was toen je een kind was op school? Het betekende niet alleen een tijd om niet te studeren, het was ook een tijd om te ontspannen, te verjongen en nieuwe energie op te doen. Zoals de meeste volwassenen die ernaar streven om buiten het werk een „pauze” te creëren, wilden ook wij dit idee voortzetten. Ons doel was om een unieke plek te creëren waar mensen even konden ontsnappen aan hun dagelijkse routine om wat tijd buiten door te brengen. Dat idee kwam tot stand in augustus 2006, met de opening van het Amerikaanse National Whitewater Center (USNWC). Met meer dan 24 activiteiten, een restaurant, shows met livemuziek en evenementen, vonden we dit de perfecte speeltuin voor zowel kinderen als volwassenen. Recess is terug.

Yes, Hilton is committed to reducing waste across our portfolio. All of our hotels were required to remove plastic straws, stir sticks and cocktail picks in 2019, and we are currently transitioning from individual bath toiletries to full-size dispensers.
