Hotel Helvetie is een getuige van de ontwikkeling van het toerisme in Montreux. Het werd geopend in 1865 en heette eerst Hotel-Pension de Russie en bood onderdak aan de vele klanten die uit het noorden kwamen, op zoek naar een warmer klimaat tijdens het koude seizoen. Het hotel bevat nog steeds alle elementen van de originele gevel. Het hotel ligt tegenover het casino en op 200 meter van het meer, in het hart van Montreux. Het is een ideale start voor de belangrijkste toeristische attracties van de regio. Hotel Helvetie heeft 62 kamers die allemaal van elkaar verschillen. Ze voldoen aan de verwachtingen van de zakenman, maar ook aan die van toeristen die een weekend vol ontspanning en ontdekking aan de Zwitserse Rivièra willen doorbrengen. Er zijn ook twee vergaderzalen beschikbaar voor uw seminars.
