Hotel Kontiki Playa ligt op de eerste lijn van Playa de Palma, op 8 km van de hoofdstad Palma en op 4 km van de luchthaven. Er is een mooie esplanade tussen het hotel en het strand. De communicatie is uitstekend, het is omgeven door een breed scala aan vrijetijdsvoorzieningen zoals winkels, bars, restaurants en discotheken. Er zijn twee gebouwen in het complex, een met 228 kamers, allemaal met terras en complete badkamer. De andere met 45 appartementen, allemaal gevormd door 1 kamer, eetkamer, tv, bad, kleine keuken en terras met uitzicht op zee.
