Dit zeer aangename Hotel Mediterranee werd opgericht in 1960 en ligt in een rustig gedeelte van het historische centrum van Taormina, op slechts 5 minuten lopen van de Corso Umberto en op 10 minuten van het Griekse theater. Het biedt een spectaculair uitzicht over de baai en de vulkaan Etna. De 50 kamers zijn ingericht in klassieke stijl. De meeste hebben een balkon/terras met uitzicht op de zee en de Etna, en een minibar. Zijn er ook kamers beschikbaar met uitzicht op de tuin.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
