Het Museum voor Schone Kunsten (Hongaars: Szépmÿvészeti Múzeum) is een museum op het Heldenplein, Boedapest, Hongarije, tegenover het Kunstpaleis. De Hongaarse Staatsopera (Hongaars: Magyar Állami Operaház) is een neorenaissancistisch operagebouw in het centrum van Pest (een deel van Boedapest), in het 6e district (Terézváros) aan Andrássy út 22. Ontworpen door Miklós Ybl, een belangrijke figuur in de Hongaarse architectuur uit de 19e eeuw, duurde de bouw van 1875 tot 1884 en werd gefinancierd door de stad Boedapest en door keizer Franz Joseph van Oostenrijk-Hongarije.
