Port Askaig Hotel is een pittoreske, door een familie beheerde Highland Inn aan de oevers van de Sound of Islay, met uitzicht op de pier waar dagelijks autoveerboten aanmeren bij aankomst vanaf het Schotse vasteland. Dankzij de nabijheid van de veerboot biedt het hotel gemakkelijke toegang tot de Jura, Colonsay en het vasteland. Het hotel is al meer dan 50 jaar in familiebezit. Deze oude herberg ligt op misschien wel de beste kustlocatie in Islay en biedt een mix van 11 tweepersoonskamers met 1 of 2 bedden en 1 eenpersoonskamer - allemaal met een eigen badkamer. Ons appartement met eigen kookgelegenheid is het hele jaar door beschikbaar en is geschikt voor 4/5 personen - huisdieren zijn op wekelijkse basis. In het Port Askaig Hotel vindt u kwaliteitsmouten en een menu met lokaal Islay-vlees en zeevruchten van de dagelijkse vangst.
