Gelegen op een meander in de Amstel was het Omval-gebied dat Ruby Emma zijn thuis noemt, decennialang de krachtpatser van Amsterdam. Het gas dat door de Zuidergasfabriek werd geleverd, hielp de stad te verlichten en te verwarmen, net als de kooktoestellen en koffiepotten van de lokale bevolking. Tegenwoordig is het nieuw gevormde Amstelkwartier een meer idyllische plek, maar de focus op energie blijft. In navolging van de zeelieden die met hun zeilen de wind in de scherpe bochten van de rivier hebben weten te benutten, draait het Emma om het benutten van de kracht van de natuur. Van de thermische watervoerende laag die ons warme water opslaat tot de slimme gevel van het gebouw die reageert op de elementen om de temperatuur in het hotel te regelen, groene energie stroomt door Emma's aderen. Binnenin zijn de kamers allemaal voorzien van onze Lean Luxury-accenten, waaronder een groot, comfortabel bed, Ruby Care-producten voor aromatherapie en zachte, zachte handdoeken, samen met een Marshall-versterker om uw audio wat pit te geven.
