Faasai Resort and Spa, een viersterren eco-resort aan de zuidoostkust van Thailand, heeft tijdens de Thailand Green Awards 2011 voor de tweede keer in de driejarige geschiedenis van de awards het beste kleine hotel gewonnen. De prijzen weerspiegelen de groeiende wereldwijde belangstelling voor groen reizen. Als onderdeel van zijn toewijding aan het milieu biedt het resort gasten de mogelijkheid om verse biologische producten te plukken en te eten uit de eetbare bostuin, die ook het leefgebied voor de lokale fauna beschermt. Het is een eco-resort met 14 kamers in Kung Wiman, Chanthaburi, Thailand, ongeveer 200 kilometer ten zuidoosten van Bangkok. Het resort ligt verscholen in een met bos bedekte heuvel te midden van tropische tuinen. Het kijkt uit over de met mangrove omzoomde Kung Kraben-baai en ligt op tien minuten lopen van het Kung Wiman-strand.
