Castleford Civic Centre werd in maart 1970 geopend door Hare Koninklijke Hoogheid, de Hertogin van Kent, als hulpmiddel voor de gemeenschap en als administratieve basis voor de gemeenteraad. Het centrum is beschikbaar voor conferenties, bruiloften en privéfeesten.
