Nu is het het belangrijkste museum en kunstgalerie van de stad. Een elegant 17e-eeuws hertogelijk herenhuis gebouwd op de Castle Rock hoog boven de stad, door de hertog van Newcastle. Het is omgeven door een prachtig Victoriaans park en biedt spectaculaire uitzichten over de stad en het omliggende landschap.
