Reads Restaurant with Rooms is gevestigd in een elegant Georgiaans herenhuis, omgeven door een rustig terrein, met gazons in de schaduw van hoge cederbomen, treurwilgen en paardenkastanjes. Het biedt zes rustgevende en ontspannen gastenkamers, elk individueel ontworpen en ingericht in historische stijl. Met het karakter van het huis en de omgeving is het een uitstekende plek voor private dining, zakelijke bijeenkomsten, recepties en is er ook een vergunning voor burgerlijke huwelijksceremonies. Veel van onze klanten maken gebruik van de charmante Private Dining Room, waar ze kunnen ontspannen buiten het hoofdrestaurant. Ideaal voor groepen tot 20 personen, we stellen een speciaal menu voor u samen om de avond nog aangenamer te maken.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
