De Santa Maria della Scala is een van de oudste Europese ziekenhuizen die langs de „Via Francigena” is gebouwd om pelgrims op weg naar Rome te huisvesten. Zowel historisch als vanuit monumentaal oogpunt interessant zijn de versterkte gehuchten; daarvan is Fattoria Il Santo zonder twijfel de beroemdste - waarschijnlijk gerestaureerd door Giuliano da San Gallo. Het landgoed van Fattoria Il Santo is het perfecte scenario voor uw bruiloft, evenementen en andere evenementen. We hebben een vergaderruimte die plaats biedt aan maximaal 100 personen en die geboekt kan worden voor het organiseren van dergelijke evenementen. Wij bieden de beste faciliteiten voor succesvolle evenementen.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
