The Plough at Lupton staat al sinds 1760 op zijn plek, langer dan sommige, zo niet zo lang als andere, en de Inn was bedoeld voor reizigers als rustplaats, net voor de tolweg bij Cow Brow. We hebben nu 5 luxe klassieke kamers en suites die toepasselijk zijn vernoemd naar voormalige landeigenaren van Lupton (Lupton) die dateren uit „Torsin” in de Domesday-enquête van 1058 aan Sir Richard Musgrave in 1681. We kunnen uw huwelijksreceptie organiseren; catering voor 80 - 120 personen in onze Farleton-kamer, en meer met behulp van een partytent.
