Over ons
De wereldberoemde architect Jørn Utzon ontwierp het Utzon Center in Aalborg in samenwerking met zijn zoon Kim Utzon. Het Utzon Center werd in mei 2008 geopend en het is een ontmoetingsplaats aan de waterkant van Aalborg waar architectuur, design en kunst, tentoonstellingen en conferenties, vergaderingen en culinaire ervaringen samenkomen. Het Utzon Center bestaat uit twee tentoonstellingszalen, de Spidsgatter Hall, een workshop voor de architectuur- en designstudenten van de universiteit van Aalborg, de Utzon Library, het Obel Auditorium op de eerste verdieping met uitzicht op de Lim Fjord en het Utzon Café & Restaurant. Het hele huis is gebouwd rond de binnenplaats van het Atrium. Het Utzon Center is uniek gelegen dicht bij de havenpromenade en de Limfjord. Vanuit het auditorium op de eerste verdieping is er een prachtig uitzicht op de Limfjord, wat bijdraagt aan een prachtige en inspirerende setting voor conferenties en evenementen.
