Tiara Miramar Beach Resort is een verborgen juweeltje in de charmante badplaats Théoule-sur-Mer. Ontdek in het hart van het oude dorp Mougins hoe de schoonheid van de antieke wereld de neoklassieke, moderne en hedendaagse kunst heeft beïnvloed. Een verzameling unieke antiquiteiten, waaronder sculpturen, vazen, sieraden en munten, van Romeinse, Griekse en Egyptische oorsprong, en de grootste privécollectie van oude wapens en harnassen ter wereld. Deze kunstwerken worden aangevuld met meer dan honderd schilderijen, tekeningen en sculpturen van kunstenaars zoals Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Dufy, Cézanne, Rodin, Dali, Andy Warhol, Marc Quinn, Antony Gormley en Damien Hirst. Voor de kinderen is er tijdens het bezoek een interactieve presentatie op touchscreens. De oprichter van het museum is Christian Levett, een Britse zakenman die gespecialiseerd is in beleggingsbeheer en een passie voor oude kunst.

Picasso, enthousiast, werkt in het kasteel en voert veel werken, tekeningen en schilderijen uit. Na zijn verblijf in 1946 liet Pablo Picasso 23 schilderijen en 44 tekeningen achter in de stad Antibes. Tot de beroemdste schilderijen behoren: La Joie de vivre, Sater, Fauna en centaur in de drietand, De Gobeur d'oursins, LaFemme aux oursins, Stilleven met de uil en de drie zee-egels, La Chèvre... Op 22 september 1947 werd de Picasso-zaal officieel ingehuldigd op de eerste verdieping, vergezeld van een eerste ophanging van de werken van Antibes. Op 7 september 1948 bevestigt een tentoonstelling de aanzienlijke verrijking van 78 keramiek gemaakt in de Madoura-werkplaats in Vallauris. Op 13 september 1949, ter gelegenheid van de opening van de tentoonstelling „Tapisseries françaises”, zijn nieuwe zalen gewijd aan Picasso's schilderijen, keramiek en tekeningen open voor het publiek. En op 27 december 1966 brengt de stad Antibes opnieuw een eerbetoon aan Pablo Picasso en wordt het Grimaldi kasteel officieel het Picasso Museum, het eerste museum gewijd aan de kunstenaar. Tot slot, in 1991, staat de Jacqueline Picasso-datie een verdere verrijking van de Picasso-collecties toe.
