Over ons

Het hotel is midden januari 2009 geopend. We hebben 52 kamers en 8 suites, waarvan er 2 aangepast zijn voor mensen met een handicap. U vindt er een ontspanningsruimte met een prachtig uitzicht, een fitnessruimte, een restaurant met 110 zitplaatsen en vergaderzalen voor grote en kleine groepen. Hornavan Hotel is prachtig gelegen naast en vernoemd naar Lake Hornavan, het diepste meer van Zweden. Het is 226 meter diep en strekt zich uit over 70 kilometer van Arjeplog tot Jaekkvikk en bevat maar liefst 400 eilanden. Eind januari komt er een nieuwe gang met 13 nieuwe kamers beschikbaar. Het is heel spannend en magisch hoe ons bedrijf zich ontwikkelt. Het dak wordt op de grond naar beneden getild, de muren worden bevestigd en dan komt het dak weer omhoog! Onze fantastische bouwers werken koortsachtig met hun hamers en schroevendraaiers, vrolijk ondanks de sneeuw en het koude weer. De koffie wordt om de paar minuten gezet zodat ze de energie op peil houden. Als het winterseizoen ten einde is, worden de werkzaamheden op onze nieuwe verdieping voortgezet.
