In Acquapartita, midden in de dennenbossen op de Apennijnen die tussen Toscane en Emilia Romagna lopen, ligt het gelijknamige meer, aan de oevers waarvan het Miramonti Hotel staat. Een paar kilometer verderop, in het oude dorp Bagno di Romagna, wordt water uit warmwaterbronnen naar thermale kuuroorden en schoonheidscentra geleid.
