Het Imperial Hotel Ballyshannon, Donegal werd opgericht in 1781. De familie Dorrian kocht het hotel meer dan 70 jaar geleden. Het is in de loop der jaren uitgebreid en gerenoveerd en heeft op smaakvolle wijze oud en nieuw gecombineerd, waardoor het naar de uitstekende standaard is gekomen die het nu is. Het hotel legt de nadruk op het bieden van comfort in de kamers, die uitkijken op de stad Ballyshannon en de Dartry Mountains daarachter. Het heeft 47 kamers, die variëren in grootte en allemaal smaakvol zijn ingericht volgens een zeer hoge standaard. De Allingham Room dient als een kleine conferentieruimte en wordt ook gebruikt voor kleinere evenementen en feesten. De Erne kamer is ook een luxe feest- en conferentieruimte en is geschikt voor maximaal 300 personen voor conferenties en evenementen.
