Hotel 1898 is een authentiek juweeltje om te ontdekken. Hotel 1898 ligt in het hart van Barcelona en is gevestigd in wat ooit het hoofdkantoor was van de General Philippines Tobacco Company. Het prachtige bouwwerk werd gebouwd in 1881 en ontworpen door de Catalaanse architect Josep Oriol Mestres.
